But it’s not just about welcoming a baby. An older child, a stepchild, an adopted child, or those celebrating a name change, can all be shown your personal message of love and support in a naming ceremony.

What I will do I will create a bespoke ceremony telling the unique story of your family,

and capturing the essence of your precious little one. Your ceremony will be full of joy and heartfelt moments, include family traditions, special readings, poems and music of your choosing. There are many rituals I can suggest such as sand blending, candle lighting or memory boxes, all adding another meaningful layer to your special family occasion.

You have the freedom to choose the location, whether it’s in your home, a garden or any other place that is meaningful for you. Just think, anytime, anywhere, and in any way, and that’s how I can help you get that special occasion that feels just right for you and your family.

I am supportive and organised, ensuring every detail of your ceremony is taken care of so you can enjoy a stress-free experience. As I only provide one ceremony per day, you will also have my undivided attention.

I will guide you through each step with care and attention to detail to ensure your ceremony is thoughtfully planned and delivered.

Having worked for many years in education, I am adept at troubleshooting and will calmly offer suggestions to aid the smooth running of your ceremony.

I understand that every family is unique, so I provide a flexible and creative approach to your naming ceremony, resulting in a wonderful celebration that reflects your style and family.

Just send me a message to arrange an initial no-obligation chat, so you can decide if I am the perfect celebrant for you. You can ask me lots of questions about what I do, and I’ll ask you a few too!

What is included? Prices start from £350

    I will send you a booking form and once it’s returned, your ceremony date is exclusively set aside for you.

    A second meeting, preferably in person (but this can be a video call if that suits you best). Tell me about your family and whatever it is that paints a picture of your child; you can share significant stories and your future dreams for them.

    I will provide a questionnaire for you to share additional stories and details you want included in your naming ceremony.

    I can suggest readings or poems, rituals and music that would work well with your ceremony.

    I will prepare a bespoke, draft ceremony script and send it for you to review and edit. I will include any changes you request until you are happy with the script.

    I will be on hand to support you in any way I can with unlimited communication via email or telephone.

    I will deliver your ceremony with confidence, heartfelt joy and humour. I will arrive early and ensure everything is ready for your ceremony. And of course, I’ll be there to put you at ease and greet your guests too.
